Bhumiputra* Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Bhumiputra*

Rating: 3.0

Bhumiputra*

Why is he sad?
Why worry lines are read?
He wears gloomy face
As if going for some race

Life is meant to enjoy
With peace and no decoy
With friends it must be joyful
Nice to feel and enjoyable

If you are fed up with hotel food
Order for local rotla* or bread
That shall inject some energy
With choice limited to juicy liquids

Friends are all around
So interest is definitely found
All are set to venture outside
To go for hill track or for horse ride

But something must be decided
The thrust must be aided
With all out drive
And made it live

All friends seem to be local one
And enough work has been done
The harvest season is over and summer has set
The tour shall be only real date

• Bhumiputra.. sons of soil
