Bird Song - Poem by Buddy Bee Anthony

One bird song hungry for their mother
One bird song seeks shelter on the docks
One bird song is warring on their brother
One bird song is beating all the clocks

One bird song pledged loyalist devotion as
One bird song is prayin to their rock

One bird song is causing all commotion
One bird song is preachin to the flock

One bird song, so meek hurt and tired
One bird song's all fake giddy and aglow

One bird song tried putting out the fires
One bird song flat nowhere left to go

One bird song found their message in a bottle
one bird song casts smoke ring wishes to the skies

One bird song tell a real, good, true, story
I can feel it in my spirits just by
looking in their eyes.

One bird song
Reachin for the Ocean
One bird song out sailin the seven Seas

One bird song is poetry in motion
One bird song sings sweetly back to me

One bird song high primpin on a wire
As One bird song swoops low to make the kill
One bird song flip floppin in the mire

One bird song's
confidence been stilled

One bird song singin for their supper
One bird song makes sweet love to the land

One bird song, day trippin on a storm cloud
To flood cleanse cool new watercolors on the parched, and
weathered sands

One bird song
searchin for the Ocean
One bird song out lookin for the sea
One bird song is poetry in motion
And one bird song
Waits patiently for me to

Excuse me,
but is that the hardest you can shtick
black chick?

And white girl, that ain't no A game you unfurl.
And what about you is that the best you can do
to get out and of the shue
I've often wonder if you have the first clue?
Jew Broad
Sometimes it's best to scatter,
push a pawn in these matters
and go down, deep downtown and dirty.
You walked away when you met your match
Now, you got an itch that you can't scratch
Time to get down, on the cheap, get down and dirty
Chat your new best gal pal up,
get more than a little bit flirty
n go down, down, deep downtown and dirty
Cuz, the fortune you've been ridin
is the fortune they've been hidin
ad the fortune you've been winnin is the fortune they're cashing
in and fashioned in
it's time to get down, deep downtown and dirty.
They got most your marbles, the rest they're getting on the take
The bribed the preacher out of the baby jesus inside the fat Tuesday cake.
You're so special now so divine.
The brightest star up on the chorus line.
A number one show, a really major hit.
They say, sign right here on the dotted line darling,
this shouldn't hurt a bit.
And the fortune you've been riding is the fortune they've been skimming
and the fortune you've been winnin is the fortune they're cashing in
they're in fashion in.
Sometimes you gotta push on in these matters
when put upon, it's best to scatter.
and go downtown, deep downtown and dirty.
So, don't tell me that's the best you can do.
Jew Broad.
That's as hard as you can stick. Black chick.
Don't pass your B game off like it's the A team white girl
Just come down, one time downtown, to the underworld with the likes of

the shue...
