Bit by bit

give what you will
to the lions
the tigers
the bears
the flowers
let the coyotes
scrape you down and
the vultures pick away but
make sure
you stash something
special for
the maggots to
find...

otherwise
stay in the house...

    Not the best poem but perfectly morbid; and with a nice flow to it. I personally would love to have read this for the first time on a crumpled up piece of paper found lying deep in some woods.
