Biting Backs To Bite Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Biting Backs To Bite

You've been taught to watch me.
But I am not the one,
Prepared behind You to bite.
Your eyes watch me.
Fixed and focused every day and night.

And while you're doing that.
You accuse me on your back to bite.
And while you're doing that,
You blame me for the starting your fight.
To ignite.
And while you're doing that,
You've been taught what you do is right.
You've been taught what you do is right.
You've been taught what you do is right!
