Blank Page Poem by Morgan Nagy

Blank Page

In a small town in
Scotland, they sell books
With one blank page.

But these books
Are not for all.

Only once you're sure
You have enough skill
Do you dare
Pick one up.

They test your
Ability
To read the authors'
Minds.

Or rather,
Your ability
To fill the empty space.

Who knows what really goes there?
I suppose there is
No answer.

But those with no
Imagination
Are left,
Clinging.
