Blessed Yoke Poem by Rev. Dr. A. Jacob Hassler

Blessed Yoke

Rating: 3.5

two-way stop signs
shot up with holes

a good pair of boots
worn smooth at the soles

heavy wildflowers with
a slight nod in their stems

old corduroy coveralls
that are frayed at the hems

I like the way this poem flows and meanders to a slower point in time.... Very Nice imagery to slip into. I enjoyed this!
