Blind Lover Poem by Buddhi Hatharaliyadda

Blind Lover

Rating: 5.0

When your rosy lips touch mine
I see the color RED.
Ask anyone who has ever loved
It won’t be differently said.

It’s your pulse when I hold you
I feel as color ORANGE.
Oft I pray in days to come
It will never change.

Sound of your bubbling laughter
To me it’s the color YELLOW.
I know it’s bright and warm as sun.
Agree would any fellow.

As you whisper in my ear
That is when I see GREEN.
Budding wishes embrace my thoughts.
Darling! You know what I mean?

Touching your silky, smooth locks
As my fingers brush through,
While your head lies on my shoulder.
I see the color BLUE.

When those starry eyes of yours,
With tears they overflow.
Coldly dripping on to my palms;
I can see INDIGO.

It’s your soul in my dreams
I see as color PURPLE.
I know it is like ambrosia
And fragile like a bubble.

The day you told that you love me
I’m sure of that I saw;
Although before I haven’t seen
The colorful RAINBOW.

First, the concept you have selected is very good... Second, the rhyming is there... Third, simple but meaningful... My best regards to you...
