Blitzing Sun Poem by Minerva Agriam

Blitzing Sun

With rosy cheeks,
You smiled at me.
Warm and cozy in heaven,
Your set of throne.

The stars are your
Playmates;
The eagles your
Friends.

The clouds protect and
Adore you;
Hundreds of them
Guard you.

You give colors to
The bland earth;
With your rays soft
As the flower's petals.

As you prepare to sleep
At the west;
Lovers dream
With you.

Sweet and beautiful
You bade goodnight;
Hundreds of hearts
Loved you.

You whisper with
A promise;
As you bade goodnight
To sleep.

Goodbyes are said
To be ugly;
But to you they
Are pretty.

You are sweet and
Most beautiful,
When setting along
Manila de Bay.

Beautiful as the
Rainbow,
Are your promises at
Manila de Bay.
