Sit around bonfire,
Sparks rise and fly like glow worms;
Charred logs fall with thud.
Bonefires are so comforting. It has been a long time I have sat near one!
We have bonfire in the temples on the day of the festival 'Karthikai' for Lord Shanmukha or Karthikeya in Tamil Nadu...nice reading your poem
