Border In The Sand? Poem by Vera Sidhwa

Border In The Sand?

Rating: 4.0

I slid around the wet sand's,
Border between it and I.

Alongside my feet,
Along the sandy shape of this border.

Then I ran after you my guy.
I held your waist,
While noticing this border's shape.

That longing kiss,
Between you and I.

That line, that border grew invisible,

For in that kiss my guy we became one.

And to this day, when I lie on the beach,
I see the border disappearing,
As I feel that kiss lingering.
