I feel alone
Like I’ve been isolated from the world
Like I’m invisible
And no-one can see me.
As though the world is still moving
But I’m stuck in this place
Wondering where I belong
And where I can go to fit in.
I just want to be good at something
I want to stand out
I want to be known.
But how will I be known when no-one can see me?
How can I be successful when I don’t believe in myself?
I feel like the whole world is against me
And I need to prove them wrong
I need to work hard
Fight these perceptions out of me head
Break free
Fly away
Feel alive.
