Breaking The Walls Poem by Rimni chakravarty

Breaking The Walls

Walls are built for fortification
They measure the boundaries and enable you keep good relation
With you and your neighbor
Or else you would have had to fight a war
Robert frost had said in Mending Walls'good fences make food neighbors'
I agree but feel walls make my conditions worse
Many a walls invisible lay heavy on my heart
My mind I feel is engulfed with dirt
My vision blurs
I feel 'am under a curse
Instead had there been a bridge!
It would have helped me connect with the divine soul
life would have meaning and not an empty bowl
I would connect with Him to feel the happiness
Of my existence.
