Brian's 2020 - Year's - End Poem: ....[ There Is Hope! ! ] Poem by Bri Edwards

At this often festive time, near our New Year,

I wish you ALL a comfortable BIT of cheer, but

no more than a bit; cheer can be SO addictive,

and the future may be even MORE restrictive.



If it IS, you mustn't count on being cheery.

You might best plan for a future more dreary.

I, Bri, may turn to booze and smokes, to ‘survive'.

(I'd chase women, BUT my "thing" is barely alive.)



[ Ok, 'it' still gets USED, ‘bout five times per night,

when I get up to pee, which does NOT seem right! !

I've ‘made' TWO bedside urinals; both are plastic.

I could TRY just tying my thing off, with an ‘elastic'. ]



But, WAIT!There's good news; there IS still HOPE

….that the future will be just FINE, with NO need to

…..MOPE!
