Brimming Poem by Gary Diamond

Brimming

i could scour the earth looking for the right words to tell you.
my words hold little wisdom, but hold weight.

i believe in trust and that it's an emotion.
i believe a lot of things you don't.

don't rock the boat, don't twist my words out of shape.
don't find your coat, you know you can't escape.

cos time will keep you running.
keep you brimming with regrets.
you're something i'm not, nor will never be.
i only pray we don't meet again
for your sake and mine.
