Bring me…
Bring me home to the river
The calming place upon the water
The place where you can find me

I’m done searching
Found all I can hope to find
Found the things that give me peace of mind
And I find it fills me
Completely

And singing
Songs of love and songs of life
I sing out into that great goodnight
I sing the songs that fulfill me
They give me

And to you
I wish I knew you better
Always love you forever
Wish I’d loved better when I had the chance
We’d sing and dance

Now I can’t be
All the things I was gonna be
Left out so many missing harmonies
Words I meant to say and write
Before goodnight

But I still see
All the good things people gave me
All the light that shined on me
People that were warm to me
And I still see…

All I was and all I’ll still be
