As I lay awake in this dull room
All I can think about is you.
I think about the day when I’m the bride and you’re the groom.
And I know that I can’t see you when I’d like to.
I wonder if this heartache will lead me to my tomb.
I know that my heart is set on you.
There is no waiting for this love to bloom.
My heart is almost broken
From words that you have left unspoken
The words that I’m dying to hear
That I need to make it another day
I love you, and I need you right here by me.
Because I miss how your lips feel against mine
Me and you we’re meant to be
Just wait there will come a time
When you’ll leave her arms
And forever be in mine
I don’t see how you can cause me anymore harm
Just tell me when you’re ready to come back
Because all I can think about is you
I will no longer lay awake in this dull room
