Tammy Ashton

I am broken

Broken beyond repair

along this struggle
that is life

Over time

I have master
the illusion

of happiness
and hope

patchwork of lies

delicate bandage

Rips apart

by the sharp
jagged edges
of my past

exposing wounds

too painful
to touch

they grow
and fester

I shatter
like a mirror thrown

Shattered like a mirror thrown. Well we all know how hard it is to repair a broken mirror. The difference is that your bandage may help the healing. It will take time but I believe you can heal and recover. You can always seek support among your fellow members. Stay strong (Report) Reply
