Broken And Twisted
The air in this house-
is full of bitterness
I go unnoticed-
or dodge the
assaults altogether
I am face to face
with my near
destruction-
You only lie
next to me
for warmth-
Whispering in your
sleep of foolish
words
I get up and
blow smoke
rings under
a bleached out
moon-
A colorless world
full of nothing
but dying desires-
and a quick
fall from
grace
My mind is broken
and twisted
for me I see life
now as asking for
death
