'Broken But Not Dead' Poem by mike clarke

'Broken But Not Dead'

Rating: 5.0

Used then thrown away,
like a broken toy, that cant be played with,
'once loved'
but the game has changed.
Yesterday was yesterday,
today is today, tomorrow will never be the same.
The tortured soul, remains of a broken home,
thats been sold.

Yesterday was yesterday, today is today, tomorrow will never be the same. -very true The tortured soul, remains of a broken home, i think that the toy symbolizes a child that suffered some kind of abuse at home due to a broken home and his innocence has been sold. But, he was able to overcome that suffering and face life and here is the meaning of the title great poem 10+ keep up the good work

A tragedy beckons a fixing. Once broken, you got to pay for the cost.A broken home is like a drifter straying far from its destination. Its a kinda internal bleeding. You bleed............and bleed but still alive. The mother of all pains! !
