Broken hearts, and painful darts
Relentless acts, leaving just the facts
A soul departs, leaving one in parts
The knife impacts, what the love lacks

Her wrists resplendent with scars, thoughts of what was ours
With the blade she slits, the blood it spits
Her life behind bars, your love her nights stars
Her life she omits, his love he could not commit

Leaves her in pain, her heart all in vain
Until he can retain, her love he can attain
