Bucket List (Oh To Die A Happy Man) Poem by Colin Coplin

Bucket List (Oh To Die A Happy Man)

Rating: 4.0

At 22, I wrote a list of things to do
A simple list of to do's before I'm through
I have them numbered on both hands
Oh, to die a happy man

Win the trust of a beautiful woman
Have coffee with an honest man
Shape tomorrow for my children
Oh, to die a happy man

Have a song sung by the Angels
Store my thoughts in someone's cloud
See the faces of my children, no matter, where they are
Oh, to die a happy man

Happy man
Oh, to die a happy man
Happy man
Oh, to die a happy man

Yes, I keep a list of things to do,
A simple list before I'm through
I have them numbered on both hands
Oh, to die a happy man

See Antarctic in the Spring and Machu Pichu's views
Place my deck chair at Tranquility Base and gaze back at the purest blue
Have a sanctuary for my books, and a comfortable pair of shoes
Oh, to die a happy man

Happy man
Oh, to die a happy man
Happy man
Oh, to die a happy man

Yes, I keep a list of things to do,
A simple list before I'm through
I have them numbered on both hands
Oh, to die a happy man

Happy man
Oh, to die a happy man
Own a comfortable pair of shoes
Oh, to die a happy man
