Let me love who I want to love
For all the wrong reasons
My hearts been broken so many times
I got used to picking up the pieces
Let me take what I want
From the people I hate
Look into my amber eyes and tell me that I can’t
I tell myself that I still believe
What I tell myself to believe
All I want is to be happy
Let me say whatever I want
Just whatever comes to mind
I will always be honest
I can’t promise I’ll always be kind
Thank you for destroying everything that I loved
Putting my head back on my shoulders at a time when it
Was in the clouds
Without people like you how would we know when we’ve failed?
