Burden Poem by Moth Harris

Burden

Can't you see that your a burden to me now
Guess it all slipped from your hands somehow
It kills you that I'm happy with someone else
It kills me that your tried to kill me

You'll always be stuck in this petty world
'cause I've moved on and to a better girl
I'm so sick with your superficial world
and that it makes you dizzy while you twirl

'cause you're lost
Don't count on a savor now
Your fault, not mine
Nor this time

Can't you see you're only a burden to me
You make it hard for her to see
That I don't care about you anymore
So I think it's my turn to walk out of that door
and leave you behind with nothing.
