Burning Incense, Eerie Deep Silences Poem by Emmanuel George Cefai

Burning Incense, Eerie Deep Silences

the house was that, the Earth
was that - there was the smell
and scent of burning incense in
those eerie deep silences.

house that temples twisted
large hairs and locks of
gold and bronze commixed
twisted...

from the high minaret
sung the wind and lowered
down - smiled the
Earth.
