Buzz Kill Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Buzz Kill

Ignoring rumors heard,
Purposely to disturb relationships.
Done by those sitting on fences,
Loving to enjoy...
Their participation in interference,
From one conflict to start...
While overseeing others they began,
Is a buzz kill.
To do it with the intention,
To have them stop and drop like flies.
Or at least,
Crawl away to be out of sight.
To be ignored is what rumor mongers fear.
And eventually they will take flight.
