Cage Of Misery Poem by Kameron Martin

Cage Of Misery

Trapped in a cage of misery
The bird songs a sweet lulaby
Freedom is a wanted name
Stuck between four walls
The thought of being different
Is unacceptable in the cage
Fear is accompanied by loneliness
Pools of water fill the eyes
A song of happiness can't be found
The pain is unbearable
Your story isn't heard
Trapped in the cage of misery
Waiting on the day
To spread your wings and fly away

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
