Call Me Foolish Poem by Nedra Pepin

Call Me Foolish

Rating: 5.0

I hate to see such pain, such suffering, in his eyes.
It hurts my heart, to see him cry.
I wish I could take his pain, and make it mine.
To save him from what tragical event that happened.
I want to cry his tears, feel his pain.
I want my heart to break, instead of his.
I don't want to see his eyes full of sorrow any more.
I want his spirit to shine as bright as the stars.
I would sacrifice my own happiness, for his sake.
For him to be happy.
For him to live again.
Call me foolish and try to stop me for wanting this.
But I won't listen, you cannot stop me.
Looks like I will never change
