Camo Poem by Weldon Davis

Camo

I loved you like a brother
It's so hard to carry on
In the crowd
Drink some Crown
Sing a country song
-And-
Watch the Duke game

Used to wile out at the bar
I was always glad when you came
Over to my table, and
Shook my hand
My main man
In camo

I know you're someplace better
Ya ain't feeling no pain
Friday night's don't feel as right
No.
The party's not the same

I used to smile like the devil
When ya made me chug my cup
Egg'n me on to 'Drink it up'

So cheers to you main man
Miss ya plenty
No lie
Why did my friend have to go
So soon?

Yeah...
I'm wondering why
They took
My main man
Always dressed in
Camo
