Can'T Be Beat! ! Poem by Leslie Alexis

Can'T Be Beat! !

A mother’s pot can’t be beat.
It remains an undone feat.
Wives have tried to no avail.
Chefs worldwide try, but fail.
Salt and fire could be the same,
But satisfaction’s ne’er same.
Curry, ‘Que or apply pie,
This one thing none can deny.
A mother’s pot’s the very best,
To have it one is truly blessed.
Sorry wife, I love you so,
But truth be truth, best you know.
The belly’s the way to man’s heart;
Mother holds a special part.
It’s no contest, you can’t win.
It’s much like of being tucked in.
A mother’s pot can’t be beat.
Her food is my preferred eat.
