Can'T Do Away Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Yet we can't do away with
As we are not armed with teeth
Know nothing about own weaknesses
Go on committing mistakes and misses

Some of the dreams may be remaining in mind
There will be no takers for views and rescind
Yet we may take satisfaction in rendering lip services
As weak human beings, we may make and break the promises

We are not fully capable of calling ourselves atheist
It may run well so long it suits our test
None can do away with some belief
It gives consolation and relief

How many of us really care about humanity?
Do we not involve in dirty games and express fear of almighty?
That is showing some sort of escapism
We simply cheat conscious and name it as humanism

It is simple principle of nature
Without exploitation it can’t progress or nurture
Big creature kill small one and stay alive
This is how cycle is repeated and others adjust and relive

It is good to fool self and show some escape route
You may conveniently choose the path that suits
Individual may talk high to boost his image
But in fact he is the most unreliable person with his age

Nobody has any business to interfere
But internally he is afraid and live amidst fear
He has fear of loosing reputation name
That he had claimed so far without any blame
