Can You Hear Me Poem by Max D. Hornbogen

Can You Hear Me

Well can you hear me, when I am not near you. Well can you see me when I am not visible, do you think you can dodge a bullet when it’s coming your way. Ever since I remember, I could recall the moments that I had with you. But now your picture is getting kind of dusty on my wall. So when I drive, I can hear your thoughts going thru my head as if you were there. You know when I look at the sun it just reminds me of the moments that I had in my life.

Well can you hear me, when I am not near you, well can you see me when I am not visible, do you think you can dodge a bullet when it’s coming your way.

So when you are near, I can see that your eyes glowing very brightly and that is getting me kind of tipsy. So when that sun sinks down, we are going stay up til the early dawn. Just only knowing that every moment in life has it’s sun going up in down.

So we are going to lite up the night and we won’t go to bed til the early dawn, so let’s have some fun. And party the night away.

Well can your hear me when I am not there with you, can you see what’s in front of you. And that it is only your reflection staring right back at you. So when you see with your eyes, you can always know where you are.

So we are going to lite up the night and we won’t go to bed til the early dawn, so let’s have some fun. And party the night away. So can you hear me when I am not near you, can you even look me in the eyes without looking at something else. Because I know seeing is believing.

You know when you look at the sun and the lake, will just get you lost in your mind, just like being in a trance. So when your staring into the great wide open, you’ll end up lost in your mind.

So can your hear me when I am a million miles away, or even flying above the moon. Do you want me to come back and to sing you a song, a song that you’ll never forget.

So when that is sun is sinking low, you’ll be sitting and staring at that sun. Just enjoying and relaxing the day away.
