Can You Hear That
Can you hear my mind flowing,
the horns blowing
the anxiety building up

Can you hear my heart throbbing
Can you make out his name
Can you hear what he tells me and let me know if
truth outweighed the lies

Can you hear my thoughts
If you can, you probably think I'm crazy,
but I can't help it
I'm a victim of an intelligent mind that is forever
exploring the possibilities

Can you hear my body
screaming, yearning, aching,
pleading and crying
for a loving, gentle touch

Can you hear my soul asking God
to guide my growth..
Hoping to touch the world so that the imprints
of my soul are left behind

Can you hear that...
I'm transcending into paradise
and I'm bringing you with me..
