Oh what a treasure photographs are
As you look back over time
The family from years ago
Truly are the ties that bind

Pictures of the precious children
Sweet little smiles so pure
Looking forward to tomorrow
Their confidence so strong and sure

We turn the pages slowly now
And say, “Ah, remember when? ”
Trains looked so different back then
But of course that was the trend

The mountains and the landscapes
Many look the same as they did back then
But others have changed completely
Construction has created a blend

But I love to look at old photos
Though nothing will forever last
But we still have these memories
Caught forever from the past!
