Career Woman Poem by Kristine Michelle Brillo

Career Woman

Rating: 4.0

Fingers on the keys
A glow upon my face
Cursor isn't moving
But I've got to win the race.

The fluorescent lights
Dispense a green hue.
I just cannot wait
Until my day is through.

My shoulders are stiff;
My head has an ache.
Hey, workaholic,
It’s time for a break!

I do a great job,
So it's not a disgrace
To take a vacation
From this crazy race!
