Caught In A Riff - Poem by Timothy Lee Hollandsworth Jr.

Same old story just another damn day.
Same old song you've heard before.
You can't get your way, you can't take it anymore.

Don't give me no blues boy.
Take a walk in my shoes boy.

Then you'll know what it means to be
Caught in a riff
Lost in the drift
Turn another page

Gonna write something new.
Not gonna be just like you.
Working 9 to 5, man alive, I can't take this jive.

Don't give me no blues boy.
Just let it loose boy.

Then you'll see what it means to be
Caught in a riff
Lost in the drift
Can't get away.

Rolling tumble weed
Hit by a train
Got all I need
To play these games
But it's a trap

Caught in riff
Lost in the drift

Peerbocus is right, and it was used in the
    proper manner. Quality work.
