The large tin can
Sits in the corner
Of my closet
Overflowing with pocket change

Quarters pennies and dimes
Nickels
Escape into old shoes
Spill out onto the carpet
Adrift in a sea of everyday comings and goings
Some take refuge under the bed
With dust balls and the lost sock

A corner in disarray
Kindness chaos announcing boldly
The overriding truth that lives at the center of the universe
Which after all is always right here
Right here wherever here is
The central operating principle
Of trillions of galaxies
Swirling in their vast seas of everyday comings and goings
Some taking refuge under the bed
With dust balls and the lost sock

This Kindness chaos corner shouting at the top of it's celestial lungs
This most often forgotten sacred chant
This fundamental heartbeat reality
Abundance abundance abundance
The pocket change of the cosmos
Overflowing love
Spilling over
Never beginning
Never ending
Abundant abundance
Enough
Enough
Enough

The loose change told me this
I wanted to share it with you today
There is enough to go around
We are going to be okay
