Chance In The Dark Woods

There was a chance
In the dark woods
Where I could choose
The road for living a life.
But I saw another road
That was beautiful
And many had journeyed through it.
I thought to follow others but
ALAS! I didn’t find any joy on my way
When I reached the end of the road.
How I wished to go back
And choose the other road.
But it was too late.
