Changes

Changes

Changes in my world do not dissuade
Me from being other than who I am.

Changes in my world of dreams will invade
Ne’er to veer me from my path at hand.

Casting fears into the rippling stream made
Of doubts sink like quickening sand.

Changes of winds and time all Nature made
Form the pieces of me for a Higher plan.

Poem of the Day

poet Henry David Thoreau

My books I'd fain cast off, I cannot read,
'Twixt every page my thoughts go stray at large
Down in the meadow, where is richer feed,
And will not mind to hit their proper targe.
