Charak Puja



In the honour of Shiva
On the last day of Chaitra
At midnight,
The bhaktas swinging
With the acrobatic skills
In submission to Shiva,
Neel Mahadeva
During this Neel Puja
And the women break their fast
After offering prayers to the Lord
And the beat of the drums with specific strokes
Telling of the obeisance and submission to
Purifying us indeed.
