Chasing A Spot In The Sun Poem by Carsten Thomsen

Chasing A Spot In The Sun

Chasing a spot
in the Sun
Cars and Tail
The proverbial bone
or the hand
that once
fed it

Restless
Dog sleep
of
Dog years
of
Dog life

The barking up
wrong trees
Neither taken nor done
in
this mongrel mutt
not quite
out of the
woods yet

I like your style. Effortlessly clever, effortlessly true. Simple reflections. Nice work.
