Chicken Fried Steak Poem by John McCornack

When should we all get out of the chicken business?
The correct answer has always remained a mystery
Should we use the eggs for more chickens or for food
Has always been the question throughout our history

Perhaps it is not worth the extra effort to contemplate
And besides the answers might just lead us all astray
Perhaps if we all just learn to eat chicken fried steak
None of us would have to ponder this question today
