Child In Crisis Poem by Tom Billsborough

Child In Crisis

Rating: 3.5

Only the wax doll listens
To her deep sorrow,
The torment of tomorrow.

Very interesting write. Why a wax doll? Because they are perfectly crafted and beautiful on the outside? Often no one knows a child is in crisis until it is too late. Children are not wax dolls, but frightfully human and easy and soft and malleable like wax. There is nothing worse than a child suffering in pain.
