Child Inside Poem by Soumita Sarkar

Child Inside

Rating: 4.5

One question to all
No one has an answer
volatile minding
their world of affair
Finally one day
Got the answer
it wasn't explicit
it wasn't obvious
Yet it came from
a neglected corner

Don't you lie...
Never run away from life
Get the truth to stick
even if it is bitter
See a mirror...SMILE
a set of strength shall shine
behind a huge cloud of flaw
Grown ups also folly
Age make maturity come close
But inside us a child grows
at times sullen...angry
possessive...jealous...hungry

Of love and care
Tend that child
even when ageing
Most of all keep it alive
It holds the key to all misery
It makes you smile
for a long healthy life

yes, long live that blessed child in everyone so that souls can relieve at times from the dragon's clutch; complexities of modern life. a right observation, meditated well with the due tint of imagination and a pint of passion added to it. turned out well, but i disagree the form. please see if possible to beautify. poesy deserves such decoration. God bless.
