Chiwawa On The Loose Poem by Theresa Ann Moore

Chiwawa On The Loose

Rating: 5.0

A spunky little Chiwawa arrived next door
New to the neighborhood…ready to explore
A small guy with a massive amount of attitude
Assertive with confidence and lots of latitude

Owners were unaware that he had left their yard
Over the property line he crossed with disregard
Sensing my presence he yipped with authority
'Go home, ' I said with the clout of seniority

He wavered with a confused look as he panted
With a faltering shift of motion he recanted
Going back to the address where he resides
Discovering where the boundary line divides
