Chor lutaray

Chor lutaray banay hein rehbar
ho na sakay gee manzil sar
koi maray ya koi jeeay
Pait bharoan ko kion ho khabar
naiki bhi badi mein badal jaati he
jab neeyat mein eemaan ke shar.
roti kapra aur makaan
naara he bay sood o asar
jamhooriat ho ya ho kuch aur
baykaar hein ye jaise keekar
Na is kay neechay cha-on bhali
na kaantay is kay rooh parwar
kab jaan hamari chootay gee
In jhootay dawayDaroan se
In makr o faraib ke maroan se
In bhangion se chamaroan se
In rooh ke azli beemaroan se
Bahut dair hui mere maula
Ab tu hee karam kar de maula
Ye qaum tu ab thak haar chuki
apna kaleja maar chuki
in rehbaroan se jaan chura
ya koi qiamat in per dha!

Poem of the Day

poet Sir Walter Raleigh

EVEN such is Time, that takes in trust
Our youth, our joys, our all we have,
And pays us but with earth and dust;
