Christmas Poem by Yulissa Fregoso

Christmas

You walk into the lighted up house.
Boom the smell hits you baking food and the nosie shocks you.
Family is gathered around the table smiling and singing
'jingle bells jingle all the way'
Tamales are flying across the table.
As crys of laughter fill the scented house
Then starts family time talking and having fun.
We all gather to open presants as we all oooo and awww
at the beautiful sights finally on your way home in the car you
gently rock to sleep.CHRITMAS IS OVER

Hi Yulissa - Nice Poem full of the Joys & Smells & Tastes of Christmas. Tamales very Mexican - a unique taste of Old Mexico. I last enjoyed them in Mexico after Midnight Mass in puebla in 2006 - awesome. The Family - the Presents - Going home again - Christmas goes almost as quickly as it comes. There will be another one next year. Lots of things change in this World Yulissa - but Christmas is always the same - especially a Mexican Christmas! Love you in Poetry - JOHN
