Christmas Once Again Poem by Marilyn Lott

Christmas Once Again

As I age I can't help but remember
The Christmas's that have past
So many now in which to ponder
Not knowing how long they will last.

My memory takes me back when I
Was just a very young girl
My world so very small then
My future would bend and swirl.

Of course I didn't know that then
Perhaps it was just as well
Many chapter's in my life that
My happiness rose and fell.

I managed to raise my children
They too had kids of their own
I too made a mark upon this earth
It certainly was where I belonged!
