Chronicle
the blue eyed boy
tons of dreams in eyes
showered with praises
real or otherwise?
fear of failure
oscillating passion and will
fugacious glory endowed
ken goes for a kill
grades mouth a sunrise
he knows the true wise
always in the spotlight
battles within the ugly fight
utmost respect for the ones
belief in the divine
dawdling away the hours
maturing slowly than the wine
expectations sky high
false attempts to achieve
entangled between innumerable thoughts
what to hold? what to leave?
everyone sees a dexter
deep down lies the sinister
attaining the ideal temperament
with the arrested development
hopes and expectations built up the vicious circle
circular effect produced unidirectional pressure
the performance was a debacle
but in the troubled waters did he unearth the real treasure
the treasure did fortify the boy who was broke
he carried it all along with an invisibility cloak
why do we fall? so that we can rise
learning forever to up the pool of wisdom.
