Chrysandra Poem by Justin Gildow

Chrysandra

Chrysandra
We have the night to ourselves
I can wear my Castlevania t-shirt and camo
pants
You can wear your Jem and the Holograms t-shirt
and American flag leggings

We can share a pizza
We can split a case of soda
We can just sit together in darkness
We can hide away from the real world for a while
All that, we can do
If you'd like

We can let a song play
We can dance this night away
Dance together
We're not running away
Or running anywhere
For the time being

Chrysandra
We have each other tonight
I'm not sure if we need anything else
And it would seem, like you agree
