Churches Poem by Conley Murray

There are so many churches in the world today,
that are not preaching God's word the God fearsome way.

They are preaching to the congregation to please,
because they want the people to feel at ease.

They know if they preached the gospel God's holy way,
a lot of people would not stay.

They are adding so many activities for the kids to play,
because they know with all the activities the more likely
the parents will stay.

In many churches today,
the traditional church music is being replaced with (the so called)
gospel rock,
they say that is the church music in our day.

THE OLD DEVIL IS CERTAINLY GETTING HIS WAY,
IN SO MANY CHURCHES TODAY.
